Pianist/Composer Mike Strickland performs his own original works, as well as popular, familiar songs using classical, jazz and blues styles. His eclectic sets might include jazz classics, romantic film themes, and piano-busting boogie-woogie. His sparkling arrangements and exciting piano style make for a very fun and memorable concert or event. With national radio and TV credits, his 20 CDs have sold over 300,000 copies. Originall from Jackson, Mississippi, he makes his home in Seattle, Washington. He tours frequently with his trio, the Mike Strickland Trio, and with his daughter Elizabeth, a fine classical pianist.
